Other Service Opportunities

Service plays an important role at Georgetown CRC whether done individually, as families, or as a church. Over the years, various groups have participated in service trips to Lake City, MI, Brooklyn, NY, Chicago, IL, and Guatemala, SA. Many of our members have traveled to places like West Africa, Ethiopia, Zambia, and the Philippines to learn about the culture while serving in a particular capacity. Many young people from our church have participated in a global discipling program. Financial assistance is available for this global expression of love, compassion, and curiosity
.
Many members of Georgetown serve their community through jail ministries, crisis pregnancy, programs for the poor , etc.

Financial support is available for those who wish to serve locally, throughout the United States, and internationally through the Individual Serve Fund, based upon Georgetown's Individual Serve Fund Policy. Georgetown members interested in using the funds to help support a serve trip needs to submit a Request for Serve Funds form to [email protected]. Requests are reviewed by the Outreach Team at their meetings which are held on the second Tuesday of each month. Please submit forms at least 1 week prior to the meeting whenever possible.
