Love God, Love Others, Serve the World
Bible Study MinistriesThese are the spiritual growth opportunities currently available at Georgetown.
We encourage you to create and share new spiritual growth opportunities that God may lead you to explore.
L.I.F.E. GROUPSAll member are strongly encouraged to become a part of a L.I.F.E. Group (Living, Intimate, Faith, Experiences). Your primary spiritual care will happen in these small groups. We believe that our best hope for spiritual growth comes in a small accountability group where you will study the Bible together and prayerfully support one another. L.I.F.E. Groups are coordinated based on a variety of preferences including time, interests/hobbies, age, Bible study intensity, etc. We encourage L.I.F.E. Groups to invite non-Georgetown members into their group, as a way to reach out to our friends and neighbors.
ADULTS OF ALL AGES (AAA)This is a Bible study for men and women, individuals and couples. It meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursday evening of each month (October-April) at 7:00 PM. It is an informal meeting, enjoying refreshments during the study. Some social events are also scheduled, including a Christmas dinner and a summer picnic.
LADIES CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIPAll ladies of the church and their friends are welcome to attend this Bible study group that meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month (October-April) at 7:30 PM.
MEN'S LIFEThis study meets every Sunday morning during the school year between the morning worship services at 9:45 AM. It is an informal group composed of married men of all ages. Discussions center around what the Bible has to say about what it means to be a man, a husband, a father, and a spiritual leader of the family. We strive to build each other up in wisdom and faith, as we support each other in being the men God wants us to be at home or at work.
