Food Resources
Nourishing our neighbors.
Sharing God’s love.
"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in." - Matthew 25:35
At Georgetown CRC, we believe caring for our neighbors means coming alongside them in practical, meaningful ways. Through three food ministry partnerships, we help provide groceries and support to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity in our community.
Feeding America
Since 2007, Georgetown CRC has partnered with Feeding America West Michigan to provide supplemental groceries to local families. On the second Tuesday of each month, more than 130 families come to our campus to receive food in a welcoming, grace-filled environment. Beyond groceries, it's an opportunity to build relationships and remind our neighbors that they are valued and cared for.
Love Your Neighbor
We are proud to partner with Love Your Neighbor, a local organization dedicated to strengthening individuals and families through practical support and life skills education. Georgetown provides a host site, financial support, and assistance with grocery pickup and distribution for participants in their Life Skills program.
Jehovah Jireh
Jehovah Jireh is a valued local resource for families facing food shortages. Georgetown supports their efforts through monthly donations of food and pantry staples, helping ensure that families in our community have access to the essentials they need.
Through these partnerships, we are reminded that even simple acts of generosity can make a meaningful difference. We are grateful for the opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus, sharing His love one family, one meal, and one relationship at a time.
