Georgetown Friendship Ministry is a place where adults with special needs are welcomed, celebrated, and embraced just as they are. Our desire is to create an environment where friendships grow, confidence blossoms, laughter is shared, and everyone experiences the joy of belonging.
Georgetown Friendship Group
What began in 1993 as a small youth group has grown into a vibrant community of more than 50 individuals, supported by nine dedicated sponsor families who faithfully share their time, love, and friendship.
Each month, we gather for fun and meaningful outings and activities. From bowling, picnics, and crafts to theater experiences and holiday celebrations, our time together is filled with opportunities to build friendships, try new things, create memories, and simply enjoy one another's company. These gatherings also offer families and caregivers a welcome opportunity for connection and respite.
At Georgetown Friendship Ministry, we believe friendship changes lives. Every person has something special to share, every smile is worth celebrating, and every gathering is another opportunity to experience God's love in action.
