Operation Turkey Box
Big hearts = full stomachs
Thanksgiving is a season of gratitude, generosity, and gathering around the table. Yet for many families in our community, providing a holiday meal can be a challenge. Through Operation Turkey Box, Georgetown Church is blessed to come alongside our neighbors and help ensure that families can enjoy a meaningful Thanksgiving meal together.
This year on Saturday, November 21 we hope to provide complete Thanksgiving dinners for more than 120 local families experiencing food insecurity. Each Turkey Box includes a frozen turkey, roaster pan, turkey roasting bag, potatoes, stuffing, gravy, canned vegetables, macaroni and cheese, dessert, and other holiday favorites.
Operation Turkey Box is more than a meal—it is a tangible expression of God's love and a reminder that no one should face the holidays alone. As a church family and community, we have the opportunity to share hope, encouragement, and hospitality with our neighbors.
You can help by donating non-perishable food items or by contributing financially toward the purchase of turkeys, potatoes, pies, and other meal essentials. Please drop off non-perishable donations at Georgetown Church, 6475 40th Avenue, in the grocery carts located under the overhang by Door A, no later than Monday, November 9.
Together, we can help fill tables, strengthen families, and make Thanksgiving a little brighter for our neighbors!
