Dr. Douglas Kamstra is our STM (Specialized Transition Minister) as Georgetown prepares to call our next Lead Pastor. He has served two settled pastorates and five transitional pastorates in addition to serving with Home Missions, teaching at Calvin Seminary, and coaching with the Renewal Lab. He is a certified spiritual director and co-leads the Deeper Journey, a ministry providing sacred rhythms for the soul. He is married to Marilyn. They have three sons (Brian, Joel, and Eric) and three daughters-in-law (Jessica, Meribeth, and Emily) and eight grandchildren. He enjoys woodworking, traveling, and time with his grandchildren.

Sam Bruzan

Sam always has a song running through his head. Blessed with the gift of dad-jokes, Sam is almost always good for a gut buster or a groan giver. As a husband to Jessie (his smart and ever patient better half) , father of two children (Desmond and Marlow) four-and-under, and dog father (Mackinac), he is always on the lookout for teachable moments, life lessons, and the opportunity to turn any song into a parody hit.

Elizabeth, her husband Dan, and children Chase and Faith have attended Georgetown since the fall of 2020. She's in the praise team, potluck committee, friendship group, and Feeding America, and sometimes can be found leading worship or yoga here! Outside of serving as Special Services Coordinator at Georgetown, she is blessed to be the music teacher for Libertas Christian School and First Addition (a home school building), and teaching piano lessons and group fitness at the YMCA.

Amy Koetsier is all about connections. In the past, her work as a handywoman was about repair, renovation, and restoring things when they were broken. Now, she brings that skillset to people and relationships and helps Georgetown deepen and expand our connections with the wider community and world. Get to know Amy and you will find someone with a soft heart for the hurting and ready hands to help.
Sherri Kleyn

Sherri Kleyn is our numbers wiz and the one who maintains a lot of important things that are unseen. Sherri is a solid, trustworthy staff member and friend that is remarkably warm for someone who works with so many numbers. And there are a lot of numbers! Sherri and her husband Rich are almost never home; they are always out adventuring on a long e-bike ride, kayaking, or visiting their youngest daughter [they have 2] in the UP!
Sara Duggins

Sara Duggins is our staff member who is the first friendly face you will see – or hear – when you engage our church office. Sara possesses an uncommon warmth and sensitivity and a can-do attitude. Sara loves the arts: graphic arts, music, and literature – her favorite being the Harry Potter novels. In her spare time, she enjoys hand-sewing a quilt that is years in the making.
