Middle School Ministries

Turning Point - On Wednesday nights during the ministry year kids in 6th-8th grade meet in The Summit for our middle school youth group called Turning Point. Turning Point is a mix of large group activities, small group bible study, games, service, music, snacks, and much more!

Cross Training - On Sunday mornings following the discipleship calendar we meet for an educational time called Cross Training. Refreshments are served in The Summit after the morning service, and we begin class time at 11:00 am.  Students cover a host of topics using video curriculum and group discussion.

Going Public - Going Public is a program designed for young people to prepare them to profess their faith publicly. The two main components of the program are an intentional connection with an adult mentor called a Faith Friends and a Faith Expression written by the student. Going Public is offered each spring.

Lake City Helping Hands - Each June the 8th grade class is invited to work in Lake City, Michigan on a 3-day service experience.  The group performs home repairs, light construction, and clean up and also has fun swimming, going for ice cream, playing in the gym, and canoeing.
