Community Relationships
At Georgetown Church we seek to be the hands and feet of Christ reaching out in our church, our neighborhood, our community, and our world.
We do this through weekly, monthly, and yearly programs that work alongside local organizations to provide support and meet the needs of those around us.

Mobile Food Pantry
In partnership with Feeding America West Michigan, Georgetown seeks to support those in our community that are experiencing food insecurity by providing supplemental groceries. Households receive 9-11 grocery items comprised of produce, protien, dairy, grains, and more. We utilize a easy drive-thru method for distributing these free food items, simply follow the car ahead of you!Â
- Held the third Tuesday of every month, distribution begins around 5:30 pm at our church campus, located at 6475 40th Ave in Hudsonville.Â
- Community volunteers are always welcomed and encouraged to engage in being a blessing together to our neighbors. To help unload the truck and sort the food,    please arrive around 5pm.

Clothing Ministry
Working with area ministries and schools, Georgetown provides free clothing and shoes to families in need. Volunteers give of their time to sort clothes and meet participants; additional volunteers are needed to staff this ministry. The point person for this ministry is Cherie B.
If you are in need of clothing or shoes, please call the office at 616-669-5180 to schedule an appointment.Â
- This ministry is located on our church campus and is located in Micah’s House (the brick home just south of our 40th Ave. entrance)
Georgetown Friendship Group
The Georgetown Friendship Ministry began in 1993 to provide a youth group for teens in our community who had special needs. The group currently has 32 members and 9 families that serve as sponsors.
The goal of the group is to show God's love to the members, to reach out to the members and their families, and to provide a fun outing once a month for the members in order to grow relationships and give caregivers respite from their responsibilities. Some of the activities that the Friendship Group participates in includes a Calvin College basketball game, a White Caps baseball game, bowling, a Valentine's dinner, a game night and movie night, hayrides, and in December a Christmas dinner and talent show in which members share their talents.
To become involved in the Friendship Group as a member or sponsor please contact (616) 669-5180 or [email protected].
