Student Ministries

Middle school and high school are some of the most exciting (and challenging!) years of life. At Georgetown, we believe students need a place where they can ask questions, build friendships, serve others, and most importantly—encounter Jesus Christ in real and personal ways.

Our Student Ministries are designed to give teens space to grow in faith, have fun together, and discover that following Jesus is an adventure worth living.

High School Ministries (Grades 9–12)

 📖 Cross Training (Sunday Mornings)

  • Meets at 11:00 AM in The Summit following morning worship.
  • Grab a refreshment, then dive into practical teaching and group discussion.
  • Students explore what it means to live as a follower of Jesus in today’s world.

🙌 Going Public (Spring Program)

  • A special opportunity for students to prepare to profess their faith publicly.
  • Includes:
    • One-on-one mentoring with an adult “Faith Friend.”
    • Writing a personal Faith Expression to share what God is doing in their life.

Going Public helps young people articulate their beliefs and take the next step in their journey with Christ.

🎉 Young Life (Monday nights)

  • Partnering with Eastern Ottawa Young Life, we host Hudsonville High School Club on Monday nights at Georgetown, following the school year calendar.
  • Club is a lively, high-energy event with music, games, crazy themes, and plenty of laughter.
  • Every week students hear about the hope of Jesus Christ in a way that connects with real life.
  • Bring a friend—it’s always different, always fun, and always worth it!
